Billy Casper Golf Selected to Manage Hiddenbrooke Golf Club

(VIENNA, VA) - Billy Casper Golf (BCG) - the largest domestic owner-operator of golf courses, country clubs and resorts - has been selected to manage Hiddenbrooke Golf Club in Vallejo, CA, located in stunning Napa Valley, just north of San Francisco.

BCG will provide turnkey management of Hiddenbrooke's operations, golf course and property maintenance, sales, marketing and public relations, staffing and training, merchandising, restaurant and banquet activities, special events and tournaments, golf instruction and financial management.

The upscale, daily-fee Hiddenbrooke is rated 4.5 stars by Golf Digest (Pebble Beach and Spyglass Hill are the only courses in California to receive five stars). In its "Readers' Choice Awards," Golf World ranked Hiddenbrooke the ninth "Best Public Golf Course in the Nation" and the only Bay Area layout in the top 50. For several years, Hiddenbrooke hosted the LPGA Tour Samsung World Championships.

"Billy Casper Golf's decentralized, regional operating platform and vision for Hiddenbrooke is incredibly appealing," says Dale Stier, Ownership Representative. "Building private club-like golf and lifestyle experiences will take Hiddenbrooke to the next level."

"We look forward to Hiddenbrooke re-connecting with the community," says Peter Hill, Chairman and CEO of BCG. "Billy Casper, our company namesake and winner of the 1966 U.S. Open at nearby Olympic Club, is also excited as the Bay area holds a special place in his heart."

BCG will enact its proprietary "BCGreen" initiative at Hiddenbrooke to conserve, protect and enhance the environment, and enroll the course in the Audubon International "Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary" program. The result is increased efficiencies in maintenance, energy, water, pesticides, fertilizer, equipment wear and labor.

Hiddenbrooke features an 18-hole, 6,782-yard par-72 world-class championship golf course designed by golf legend Arnold Palmer. Dramatic elevation changes and five sets of tees test golfers of all skill levels with a mix of bite and benevolence.

The layout is especially revered for its four par-5 and two par-3 holes. No. 2 plays much longer than its 481 yards, rising roughly 60 feet from tee to green. Reaching the green in two is risky, with a creek traversing the two-tiered fairway 160 yards out and a threesome of menacing bunkers for extra protection. Situated on a cliff as much as 70 feet above the treacherous green, the par-3 No. 13 adds excitement and quickens pulses.

A comprehensive practice facility with driving range, chipping area and the undulating putting green ensure each player enjoys and makes the most of their practice time. PGA instruction is available.

The first-class clubhouse with eye-catching banquet and event space attracts weddings, corporate outings and other social events from the surrounding Bay Area. A pavilion room nestled next to the No. 18 hole and surrounded by the picturesque rolling hills of Solano County creates an unmatched location. A junior Olympic-size pool, Jacuzzi, gym and two tennis courts round-out the amenities.
