Boxgroove Adds Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club

(BELLEVUE, Wash.) – Boxgroove (www.boxgroove.com), an inventive, reliable online network offering golfers the opportunity to play private golf courses of their choosing, has added Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club in North Plains, Ore., to the selection of private courses Boxgroove members can play.

"We are proud to include Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club among the courses Boxgroove members can experience and enjoy," said McRedmond Morelli, founder and CEO of Boxgroove. "The tradition of excellence at this already-historic destination, along with its beauty and golfing challenge, adds to its appeal."

Witch Hollow, a members-only course designed by Robert Cupp, is nestled in the shadows of the Tualatin Mountains and is surrounded by dense stands of fir, maple, oak and ash. Its challenging and scenic layout was the site of the 1997 and 2003 U.S. Women's Open; Witch Hollow also hosted the 2006 U.S. Women's Amateur.

Ghost Creek is hailed as one of the nation's premier semi-private golf courses. The Robert Cupp-designed layout emulates traditional golf-course architecture with gently rolling terrain and a creek that reappears throughout. Ghost Creek was home to the NIKE TOUR Championships in 1993 and 1994. Both Witch Hollow and Ghost Creek consistently are listed among the best golf courses in the U.S., and Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club was voted '2011 Facility of the Year' by the Oregon Golf Association.

"Pumpkin Ridge Golf Club is excited to add Boxgroove for our members, so when they travel they can experience other great golf courses and clubs," said Roger Aggson, general manager of Pumpkin Ridge. "We are also excited to have other Boxgroove members play our two Bob Cupp-designed championship golf courses, which have hosted USGA and LPGA Championships."
