IJP Design Founder Ian Poulter Captures WGC-HSBC Champions

(Riviera Beach, FL.) – IJP Design would like to congratulate Ian Poulter on his victory at the World Golf Championship-HSBC Champions at Mission Hills China.

After playing a pivotal role in the 2012 Ryder Cup, Ian was able to capture his first victory of the year in a stirring come from behind fashion against an elite field including 7 of the world’s top ten. “I’ve only had one season without a victory and I certainly didn’t want to go another one,” said the 36 year old Poulter. “As well as I’ve played this year, it would have been a disappointment personally to have gone the year without winning. I look forward to building on this momentum for the balance of this year and for 2013.”

Starting the day four shots behind, Ian was able to seize the lead on the back nine and a clutch up and down from a green side bunker on the 18th hole helped cement the two stroke victory. With his victory Ian moves up to 15th in the official world golf ranking.

Wearing the Classic Trousers and Go Faster Polo, both in Ox Blood, from the Autumn/Winter 2012 collection, Ian was able to stay cool and comfortable under the pressure of the final round. “The clothes I wear on the golf course are very important to me. If I feel good about my clothes, I feel good about my game,” added Ian

“We are thrilled to congratulate Ian on his dramatic victory,” said Scott Davis, U.S. Brand Director of IJP Design. “Our distinctive and versatile lines are driven by high quality tailoring and technical perfection, combining the latest in apparel technology with an updated fashionable edge. Ian’s performance on the golf course mirrors his performance off it and his passion and dedication is the driving spirit behind IJP Design.”

More information on IJP Design is available through the IJP Clubhouse at www.ijpusa.com. “The IJP Clubhouse is packed with first-hand news on IJP products, special VIP insider information on Ian and what IJP clothes he is wearing and information about promotions and competitions,” stated Davis.
