TrackMan in Use at The Open

(GULLANE, Scotland) – In preparation for The 2013 OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP at Muirfield, many of the world’s best players and coaches have been spending significant time on the driving range dialing in their swings, yardages, and equipment with TrackMan.

Among those players is 2013 US OPEN Champion Justin Rose, who has spent many hours this and last week making sure he is fully in tune by calibrating his game on TrackMan.  Rose has been a TrackMan customer for many years, but more recently has been working extensively on TrackMan with his coach Sean Foley, which has helped Rose achieve his highest career world ranking and first major championship.

Earlier this year at the Masters, when asked about his work on TrackMan, Rose replied, “(Because of TrackMan) I had to relearn a lot of things… a lot of feels… but that has helped give me confidence on the golf course that if I make a certain move, I definitely will not see that (bad shot tendency).”  He continued, “… one of the biggest innovations in golf teaching is understanding how Angle of Attack influences Club Path.”
