Ted Sheftic Wins PGA Teacher of the Year

Owner of the Ted Scheftic Learning Center Has Won PGA Teacher of the Year in Philadelphia

(New Oxford, NJ) - Ted Sheftic of the Ted Sheftic Learning Center has won the PGA Teacher of the Year award for his fourth consecutive decade within the Philadelphia Section. With over 40 years of teaching experience under his belt, Sheftic has coached some of the most well-known golfers today - including US Women's Open runner up, Jenny Chuasiriporn. Sheftic's teaching strategy has led to the overall growth of every individual that comes to him with the aspiration of perfecting their swing - making them the most successful golfer they can be.

Ted Sheftic has been perfecting his golf swing for over the course of several decades, becoming the head golf professional at Hanover Country Club in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania from 1970 to 1998. With a plethora of titles rightfully given to him after winning over 50 titles and competing in the South American, Mexican PGA tour, Sheftic also obtained the Horton Smith Award in 1999 and was selected as Professional of the Year for the Central Counties Section of the Professional Golf Association in 1987. As his awards and recognitions precede him, he has made it his goal to teach those of all ages how to perfect their golf swing.

The PGA Teacher of the Year Award has been given to those individuals who deserve to be honored for their golf game among the ranks of the PGA of America membership. Due to his ability of being able to naturally communicate with his students and use his innovative drills to assist golfers on any level, Sheftic displays what it means to be the PGA Teacher of the Year for the Philadelphia Section.
