Branson/Lakes Area CVB Retains Buffalo Brand Invigoration Group to Promote Golf Destination

(VIENNA, Va.) – Buffalo Brand Invigoration Group – a global leader in golf, sport and lifestyle marketing communications – has been selected to spearhead a golf destination public relations program for the greater Branson area in southwest Missouri.

Under the leadership of the Branson/Lakes Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, Buffalo will develop and implement a comprehensive plan to meaningfully position Branson/Lakes Area Golf (www.explorebranson.com/golf) and its eight courses and related visitor friendly assets “in the news.”

“Buffalo worked with us previously and we learned first-hand about its savvy skill and results-driven performance,” said Lynn Berry, Branson/Lakes Area CVB director of communications. “It has expertise, talent and the work ethic needed to ensure new visitors discover our great golf courses and destination.”

Known as “Golf’s Ozark Mountains Oasis,” the collection of highly ranked designs includes courses and facilities by Nicklaus, Fazio, Palmer, Watson and Clampett, as well as a PGA Champions Tour event each spring (Bass Pro Shops Legends of Golf at Big Cedar Lodge, April 24-26, 2015).

“Branson is a top U.S. destination, a family friendly place with wonderful hospitality and unique amenities and attractions,” said Rich Katz, Buffalo Brand Invigoration Group managing director. “Buffalo is inspired to deliver the news about the area’s excellent courses and its vast assortment of superlative after-golf choices.”

Diverse yet complementary, Branson courses offer a variety of terrains, price points and playing options – from player friendly to championship-style tests of golf.

Dozens of lodging options exist in the Branson area – from luxury resorts and family-owned to boutique and chain brands.  Likewise, restaurants, shopping, live entertainment shows, RV parks and a plethora of outdoor activities abound.

Branson is less than one day's drive for one-third of Americans. With low-cost flights to the Branson Airport (BKG – www.flybranson.com) and nearby Springfield-Branson National Airport (SGF), it has never been easier for families, golfers and groups to access Branson.
