GolfNow, TaylorMade Renew Agreement to Reward Golfers with Prizes and Memorable Golf Experiences

TaylorMade Helping GolfNow to Create Ultimate Customer Satisfaction

(ORLANDO, Fla.) – With a continued focus on customer satisfaction, GolfNow has extended its existing agreement with TaylorMade Golf Company through 2017, keeping the two companies focused on a variety of loyalty initiatives to reward GolfNow’s best customers with equipment, apparel, accessories and unique golf experiences.

“Golfers are passionate about their sport, which is why we designed our Rewards program not only to exceed their expectations with great customer service, but also to bring more golf to their lives when it’s least expected,” said Jeff Foster, senior vice president, GolfNow. “Unfortunately, customer service normally is associated with bad news, but we’ve been inspired by companies like Zappos that have turned that perception on its ear.”

Foster said more than 40,000 GolfNow customers were surprised with TaylorMade products in 2016, including the M Family of metalwoods and irons.  From the highly adjustable M1 driver through the long and forgiving M2 irons, lucky GolfNow customers were rewarded with the most advanced equipment in the game.  In 2017, expect to see even better surprises from TaylorMade, as the all-new 2017 M Family and new TP5 and TP5x golf balls combine to deliver complete performance throughout the entire golf bag.

More than 1 million golfers have signed up to be part of GolfNow Rewards since it launched in January 2016.  With the program, the more golfers play, the more they earn – 10 points or more for every round booked.  Once 100 points are accumulated, GolfNow will send the golfer a promo code worth $10 off the next “Hot Deal” booked or the golfer has the option to save the credit and add it to future points earned.

“Our mission has always been to help golfers perform at their best.  GolfNow shares our same goal by encouraging golfers to play more golf while rewarding them along the way,” said Mark Buntz, senior director of Global Marketing, TaylorMade Golf.  “TaylorMade is excited for the opportunity to provide avid golfers with the best performing equipment in the market, so we can fuel more passion for the game, encourage more play and, ultimately, help golfers play to their full potential.”

In addition to the gifting, the agreement also calls for TaylorMade to again sponsor a GolfNow consumer sweepstakes in 2017. The “Bahamas and Birdies” sweepstakes in 2016, which provided the opportunity to tee it up in the Bahamas with Rio Olympics gold medalist and major champion Justin Rose, garnered more than 300,000 total entries and was among GolfNow’s most successful.
