K-MOTION Named an Official Technology Partner of Golf Channel Academy

Partnership Includes Video Distribution with Revolution Golf, Featuring Martin Hall

(SCOTTSDALE, Ariz.) - K-MOTION – the pioneer of innovative, wearable human motion training applications for golf, baseball, fitness, physical therapy and beyond – announces it has been named an official technology partner of Golf Channel Academy, furthering its commitment to improve the way the game is taught and learned.

The partnership includes a video distribution commitment with Revolution Golf, a golf platform that connects nearly two million golfers of all skill levels to world-class instruction. The videos will feature distinguished golf instructor Martin Hall – a member of Revolution Golf’s team of expert instructors and co-host of School of Golf on Golf Channel – showcasing K-COACH, the company’s complete coaching platform for instructors that identifies and trains the movements behind success.

“Partnering with Golf Channel Academy and Revolution Golf represents a major step in our goal to redefine both golf instruction and training,” says K-MOTION CEO Michael Chu. “A long-term alliance with Golf Channel and its instruction-related platforms and assets allows us to connect and educate industry influencers and consumers about the power of biofeedback and the K-MOTION platform.”

With 90 location spanning 33 states and one European country, Golf Channel Academy is among the most expansive golf instruction networks in the world today. The organization has nearly 250 lead and staff coaches that include 11 current members of Golf Digest’s “Best Young Teachers in America” list and 46 members of Golf Digest’s “Best Teachers in Your State” rankings.

K-COACH empowers golf professionals to better measure, understand, coach and train players. The product, based on what was formerly known as K-Vest, allows the coach to understand a student’s movement, plan the precise drills to improve the movement and ensure the drills are trained perfectly every time. With the 2018 introduction of wrist angle measurement, coaches can understand how the clubface behaves throughout the swing, while launch monitor integration identifies how the player’s swing directly affects the distance and accuracy of the player’s ball.
